1. Stratalog.App (C# WinUI 3)
Fluent Windows 11 desktop interface with GPU-accelerated rendering via Microsoft.Graphics.Win2D for high-performance vector display of stratigraphic data and geological symbols.
2. Stratalog.Core (C++ DLL)
Native computation engine for elevation calculations and lithology terminology database management, providing native speed and zero garbage collection overhead.
3. Local AI Engine
ONNX Runtime with DirectML support for offline multimodal analysis of core images. Runs Google Gemma-4 QAT model locally on GPU/NPU hardware for total privacy.

Local Multimodal AI Engine
The offline AI analysis features leverage a quantized version of Google Gemma-4 E2B Instruct (specifically the Apache 2.0 licensed onnx-community/gemma-4-E2B-it-qat-mobile-ONNX model). By running locally using ONNX Runtime via Microsoft's DirectML API, Stratalog provides high-performance model execution accelerated by your computer's GPU or NPU without leaking sensitive geological or exploration data to external cloud services.
